Half-term camp roundup - Day 1

Day 1 of the first GY Basketball Camp of 2021

We welcomed 22 members of our U11 and U13 programmes to East Norfolk Sixth Form today, for the first of two development camps running during half-term week.

The camp, our first since February 2020, marked a welcome return after a season disrupted by the global covid-19 pandemic.

Participants took part in four sessions throughout the day with medals awarded to individual skill competition winners and team competition winners.

In addition, two special club trophies were presented by special guest Lisa Bell - East Norfolk Sixth Form Business Operations Manager;

The ACE award, presented to the participant who best exemplified excellence in their attitude, commitment and effort.

The BeAST award, presented to the participant who consistently demonstrated excellence across all four areas that make up a performance player; Behaviour, Athleticism, Skill, and Tactical Awareness.

Next up is the U15 and U18 camp on Wednesday 2nd June.
